Polizei-Dienstauszeichnung 2. Stufe für 18 Jahre.
Decoration made of Buntmetall (non-ferrous metal alloy) with a silvered finish and original embroidered ribbon. Complete with its original cardboard presentation case, embossed with the number «18» on the lid.
Instituted on 30 January 1938, this decoration was awarded to members of the German police in recognition of 18 years of loyal and exemplary service.
The reverse bears the inscription «Für treue Dienste in der Polizei» («For Faithful Service in the Police»).
