Description

BRIPAC bayonet knife for the Mauser Model 1944 of the Spanish Air Force. In the same way that the Army and the Navy had the Mauser Model 1943 as their regulatory weapon, the Air Force had the Mauser Model 1944 carabiner with its corresponding bayonet as its regulatory weapon. This is a unique example of a bayonet used by the BRIPAC Paratroopers Brigade in the 1950s, which although it is part of the Army, also used the Mauser M1944 of the Air Force. The bayonet has a falcata-shaped blade but unlike the Model 1941 bayonet, this one has a double edge. The handle has wooden handles with the contour of the hand grip. The BRIPAC emblem is visible on the blade. Preserve the original leather frog. Spanish bayonet from the Franco period. Total length: 372mm. Length without sheath: 344 mm. Blade length: 224 mm. Ring inner diameter: 16 mm
