Handle in gilded brass, with the monarchical shield without the fleurs-de-lis, characteristic of the time of the Regency of General Espartero.
In the octagon of the guard it bears the initials CDR Carabineros del Reino.
Leather scabbard with brass rim and tip.
Not very visible marking on the blade.
On the rim of the scabbard it has a ferrule with the national emblem for the adjustment on the baldric.

Blade length 67 cm.
