Description
UK. British No 4 MKII (or MK2) spike bayonet for the Lee Enfield No 4 MK-I rifle. Made by the Baird Engineering Company (Belfast, Northern Ireland) between 1942 and 1944. The scabbard is an MK-I made by Vanden Plas 1923 Ltd. of Kingsbury Rd. (London). With marked cloth frog and numerous acceptance markings on the bayonet. World War II British bayonet.
