Friendship medals that must be given to foreigners during their working or working hours in Vietnam that meet the following standards:
1. Have a spirit of solidarity and friendship, respecting the sovereignty, laws, customs and practices of Vietnam.
2. Make active contributions to the construction, consolidation and development of friendly relations and good cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, military, diplomacy, science and technology, environmental protection, culture – partnership between Vietnam and other countries, regions, inter-regions, foreign organizations and international organizations.
