The blade is marked with «S/242» from the manufacturer Berg&Co, and the serial number «3624». The scabbard is marked «S/242» and «36», referring to the manufacturer Berg&Co and the year of manufacture 1936. It also contains the manufacturer’s number «4375». On the grip, there are two waffenamts with the eagle. German bayonet from World War II. The blade has a saw on the spine, but there is no record that this model was made with a sawback during the Third Reich period, so we cannot confirm that the sawback is from the era.
