Original third-model German M1884/98 bayonet, fully blued to reduce battlefield reflections. It features black Bakelite grips in very good condition and matching serial number «7123» on both the crossguard and the scabbard.
Both the blade and the scabbard are marked «42 cof», indicating manufacture in 1942 by Remscheider Hobelmesserfabrik, Josua Corts & Sohn, Remscheid.
