Decoration made of Buntmetall (non-ferrous metal alloy) with a silvered finish and original embroidered ribbon.
Original presentation case.
Instituted on 30 January 1938, this decoration was awarded to members of the German police in recognition of 25 years of loyal and exemplary service.
The reverse bears the inscription «Für treue Dienste in der Polizei» («For Faithful Service in the Police»).
