German SS Dagger Model 1933 manufactured by WKC (Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie. of Solingen).
The frip and scabbard are in excellent condition, retaining the SS eagle and emblem and the original black colour.
The blade has the marking “RZM 1196/38 SS” by the manufacturer WKC and the Schutzstaffel (SS) motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” (My honour is called loyalty). The underside of the blade is corroded.
The tang has the letter “O” in reference to the forger. The inside of the guard and the upper part of the hilt have the letters “P. A.” by the guard manufacturer Piel & Adey.
The leather pendant is marked “D.R.GM.”, “A” and “SS 19/38 RZM” by the manufacturer F. W. Assmann & Sohne from Lüdenscheid.
