Germany, Third Reich. German Cavalry Officer’s Saber by Ernst Pack & Sohne of Solingen.
Lionhead model. The hilt is made of gilded brass with the cavalry emblem (two crossed sabers) on the guard. The scabbard is black-painted metal, and the blade is smooth. It has the manufacturer’s marking on the blade, below the guard.
Early 1930s model, from the late Weimar Republic or early Third Reich.
