Germany, Third Reich. Dove head Non-commissioned Officer’s (NCO) Saber sword of the Heer (Wehrmacht), manufactured by E. & F. Horster & Co. of Solingen.
The hilt is gilded brass, the scabbard is silver-plated, and the blade is plain. It has the manufacturer’s marking and the serial number «316» on the lower part of the hilt, the upper part of the scabbard, and the blade. It also has several Waffenamt markings with the eagle.
Total length 97 cm, blade length 80 cm.
