Imperial Germany. German M1871 bayonet with leather scabbard. Marked «29 R. 11. 1» corresponding to the 29th Infantry Regiment, 11th Company, 1st Prussian Weapon. It also has the acceptance marking «W74» which corresponds to the initial of Wilhelm I and the year 1874. Manufactured by Ernst Wilhelm & Co., Suhl.
