Germany, Prussia. Prussian Infantry Officer’s Sword, Pattern 1889.
The hilt is nickel steel with the Prussian heraldic eagle on the guard, and the royal cypher of Wilhelm II in the center. The scabbard is metal and painted black.
The blade is straight and has the maker’s mark, Alcoso of Solingen.
