The blade is marked MA1907 (Machinery Armament, Model 1907), 3 44 (March 1944), a vertical arrow (government acceptance marking), an X (bend test mark), and OA (Orange Arsenal factory). The wooden grip is marked SLAZ 51 (the Slazenger Sporting Goods Co. factory) and 52-R on the metal part. The scabbard is marked RE (Remington).
