Spain. Spanish bayonet M1944 or Spanish Model Standard Bayonet Knife. This bayonet is based on the German model M1884/98 but its blade is thinner and lighter. It has no markings and the scabbard does not have the top finish like the German models. Used for the Mauser M1944 but also compatible for the Standard Model Rifle and the M1943. This bayonet is difficult to find and the manufacturer is unknown.
