Spain Flag or Banner of the Centuria of the Alvarez Buhilla Youth Front of Barcelona.
The Youth Front was a political-administrative organization created in Spain in 1940 as the autonomous youth section of the Spanish Traditionalist Falange and the Juntas of National Syndicalist Offensive, the only political party authorized by the dictatorship of General Franco (1939-1975).
The Youth Front was created for the training and political indoctrination of Spanish youth according to the principles of the so-called National Movement, the conglomerate of political-social forces that supported the military uprising against the Second Republic, which led to the civil war through which Franco came to power.
The symbolism of the Banner includes the Yoke and Arrows on the obverse, and the Arms of Artillery, the Morning Star (symbol of the fallen), and the Eight-Pointed Star of Commander.
