It is marked «ROST – 2» in reference to the size number and «ЛМЗ-41» of the Lysva Metallurgical Factory (LMZ) / Ленинградский Металлический Завод (ЛМЗ) and the year of manufacture 1941. Although the marking is not very visible, The format is the characteristic one used during the first years of LMZ manufacturing, changing to a shorter format after World War II. The stamped marking «2 3152» is the serial number. The chinstrap is the first model used on the Ssh-39 helmet and in the early years of the Ssh-40 helmet. It has the original characteristic pads.
