These badges were used by Muslim militiamen of the HOS (the HOS included both Muslim and Christian fighters, as the NDH had previously done during World War II).
When the alliance between Muslims and Christians broke down in Bosnia due to Franjo Tuđman and the repression against the HOS, this badge was used by Muslim militias in Bosnia.
