Cuba. 3rd Class Armored Troops Specialist Badge of the FAR
Military qualification badge belonging to the system of specialist badges of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR). This system was introduced in 1976 and established four specialist grades: 3rd, 2nd, 1st Class and Master, recognizing the level of proficiency achieved by military personnel in their respective specialties. This example corresponds to the 3rd Class and was intended for armored troops or tank personnel, identifying specialization related to armored vehicles and tanks. Specialist badges were awarded to soldiers and non-commissioned personnel, both career and conscript, according to their level of training and experience.
