Florentino Alejo Medal of the National Union of Metalworkers and Electronics.
Honorary distinction awarded by the National Union of Metal and Electronic Workers every March 24 in memory of Florentino Alejo Fuentes to recognize men and women for their merits and sustained permanence in the sector. Exceptionally, foreigners have received the distinction in recognition of their outstanding careers as metallurgical union leaders, their contribution to that sector and the Friendship and Solidarity demonstrated towards the Cuban Revolution, who have demonstrated proven friendship and loyalty with the Cuban labor movement, and specifically with the metallurgical sector.
