Cuba. The Order of Antonio Maceo was instituted in 1979 and is awarded to members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces in active military service for extraordinary merits in military operations.
1st Class plate with the effigy of Antonio Maceo ( one of the most celebrated leaders of Cuba’s struggle for independence) on the obverse and, on the reverse, the coat of arms of the Republic of Cuba and the text «Consejo de Estado» (Councyl of State).
