Helmet inspired by the North American M1 helmet. In the Spanish version, the helmet no longer had the characteristic rim of the U.S. M1 helmets.
It was issued during the 1970s and 1980s to the Air Force, BRIPAC, COES, the Spanish Legion, and the Marine Infantry.
It retains the chinstrap used by paratrooper units.
