Spain. 19th-century Albacete plug bayonet.
This socket bayonet, or Spanish knife, features the characteristic design of Albacete plug bayonets. Its distinctive shape allows it to be used both as a hunting knife and as a bayonet for a shotgun or arquebus.
The handle is made of decorated brass and wood. The blade has a sharpened edge for use as a knife and a pointed tip like a dagger.
