Spain. Spanish M1913 bayonet of the Guardia Mora, also known as Franco’s Escort or the Generalissimo’s Guard.
Model 1913 bayonet manufactured in the immediate postwar years, in the early 1940s, for Franco’s Guardia Mora. This model, suitable for the Mauser 1913 rifle and the Mauser M1943, was produced with a brown scabbard, wooden grip, and higher-quality finishes to be used by the Generalissimo’s Guard. The blade was not sharpened, as it was not intended for combat but rather for parades.
It bears the marking «FNT» with a military or leadership crown, referring to the National Factory of Toledo, and the serial number «80244 D».
