Pair of dress epaulettes or shoulder boards for officers of the Spanish Army Intendance Corps, dating from the reign of Alfonso XIII.
They are made of brass and have an interior lined with red felt. They bear the «AXIII» monogram of Alfonso XIII, surmounted by the royal crown. The buttons feature the emblem of the Army Intendance Corps.
The pair was manufactured by Lucas Saenz, a manufacturer based in Madrid.
