United States. US M1902 Infantry Officer’s Saber
American saber bearing the marking “The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus, O.” from the manufacturer Lilley of Ohio, which produced these sabres between 1910 and 1925.
The blade is etched with floral motifs, the eagle, and the national shield with the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and the initials “U.S.” for United States.
