The Railway Corps of the People’s Army of the Republic was the logistics and transport unit of the Republican Army during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Its main function was to ensure the movement of troops, weapons, ammunition, and supplies by rail and road, coordinating strategic transport in a context of protracted warfare and limited resources. This corps played an essential role in maintaining the operational capacity of the various divisions of the Republican army, especially on the northern front and in the central zone.
