France. M1936-CR39 bayonet. Rod or spyke bayonet that stows in the forend of the Mas1936-CR39 o M1936–CR39 folding-stock paratroop rifle.
This bayonet is shorter than the standard M1936 bayonet, due to the shorter barrel and forend of the M1936–CR39 rifle. CR is an abbreviation for Crosse Rebatible (Folding Stock). Overall length 29 cm, Blade length 19.10 cm.
