France. F1 Model 1978 helmet.
Manufactured from 1978 and issued from 1980 onwards, the F1 Series 1 helmet gradually replaced the Model 51 TTA and Model 56 TAP helmets in French military units. Designed for all branches of the armed forces, it was also issued to airborne troops.
Marked by the manufacturer Dunois, dated 1981.
This is one of the earliest production examples.
