France. Djebel Cross of the UNC (Union Nationale des Combattants).
This piece is known as the Médaille du Djebel or Djebel Cross, a French associative decoration awarded to veterans of the North African conflicts.
The medal features a white enamelled Maltese Cross with a blue Hand of Fatima at its centre and red crescents between the arms of the cross.
It was awarded primarily to members of the Union Nationale des Combattants (UNC) in recognition of services connected with security and law enforcement operations in North Africa between 1952 and 1962.
