Médaille Commémorative de la Guerre d’Indochine.
Instituted in 1953 to recognize service during the Indochina conflict.
The bronze medal features on the obverse a three-headed elephant above a cartouche bearing the inscription «INDOCHINE».
The medal is suspended from a twisted dragon-shaped suspension device attached to a green and yellow striped ribbon.
The reverse bears the inscription «CORPS EXPÉDITIONNAIRE FRANÇAIS D’EXTRÊME-ORIENT» within a wreath of laurel and oak leaves.
