The Commemorative Medal for Security Operations and the Maintenance of Order is a French military decoration created on 11 January 1958. It was intended for military personnel involved in security and law-enforcement operations in Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, the Sahara and Mauritania.
The “Algérie” clasp was awarded for service in Algeria between 31 October 1954 and 1 July 1964.
