Busch introduced the Terlux model in 1908 and manufactured them until 1935. The 24x variant is the largest lens in this series and the rarest to find. Due to their quality, there is evidence of their use by the US Navy, the British Royal Navy, and the German Imperial Navy (Kaiserliche Marine or Kriegsmarine).
