Identification armband for civilian employees serving the Wehrmacht (Armbinde für Wehrmacht-Zivilangestellte), used during the Second World War. These personnel performed administrative, technical, medical and auxiliary duties in German military establishments and facilities without formally belonging to the armed forces.
Made of white fabric, the armband features a central black German national eagle (Reichsadler), with outstretched wings and a swastika held in its talons. The emblem is embroidered directly onto the fabric.
The armband was worn on the upper left arm over civilian clothing, identifying the wearer as a civilian employee attached to the Wehrmacht. This type of identification was used both in Germany and in occupied territories during the conflict.
