Germany, NSDAP. Early Pattern Flagpole Finial (Fahnenspitze) with Swastika, Pre-1933.

This type of finial was mounted at the top of flagpoles used by NSDAP organizations during political rallies, demonstrations, ceremonies and parades. Its design incorporates the swastika, adopted as the party’s symbol in 1920.
The piece measures 21 cm in height and is made of brass, a non-magnetic metal. It bears no visible manufacturer’s markings.
NSDAP flagpole finial attributed to the pre-1933 period, without visible manufacturer’s markings.
