Germany Third Reich. Wehrmacht Pith Helmet 2nd Model. Made of olive-colored felt, with both emblems crafted in fine zinc, featuring the original olive green chinstrap. Inner sweatband in light brown leather with manufacturer’s stamp JHS Johann Hückel´s Söhne. The inside is marked with the year, 1941, and the size, 59.
This model of pith helmet was used in Greece, Crete, Italy, and southern France.
