Germany Third Reich. Wehrmacht Tornister M34 Backpack, 1936
Backpack or Tornister Model 1934 used by the Wehrmacht or German Army during the Second World War. It retains the internal wooden frame and the aluminium fittings characteristic of early models. The leather straps and the cowhide on the back, used for waterproofing, are in good condition. It is marked with the year “1936”.
These backpacks were used and continued to be manufactured until the end of the Second World War.
