Imperial Germany. Lionhead Prussian Cavalry Officer’s saber by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie AG (WKC) of Solingen.
Lionhead model. The hilt is made of gilded brass with the cavalry emblem (two crossed sabers) on the guard. The scabbard is black-painted metal and the blade is smooth. It has the manufacturer’s marking on the blade, under the guard.
