At the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, with the entry of the rebel troops into San Sebastian on September 13, 1936, the security of the city was placed in the hands of the military authority, which decided to create the National Civic Guard of San Sebastian at the request of the Military Government. This was a citizen security force with strong political and religious foundations. In 1938, after the Unification of FET-JONS, it was integrated into the Falange, remaining in the second line and disappearing completely in 1939. 27 x 25 mm
