Yugoslav War, or Balkan War. Serbian badge of the Scorpions (Škorpioni), a Serbian paramilitary unit active during the Yugoslav Wars (1991-1999).
They operated mainly in the Krajina region, officially the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina, within Croatia.
From 1992 to 1995, the unit was based in Djeletovci, Eastern Slavonia, part of Krajina, where they guarded oil wells and the facilities of the local oil company.
