Japan. Booklet or Pass and Badge of the Imperial Military Reserve Association belonging to Soldier Tamenobu Tanaka
The Booklet or Pass of the Imperial Military Reserve Association in Japan during World War II was an official identification document issued to members of the Teikoku Zaigō Gunjinkai (帝国在郷軍人会), the Imperial Military Reserve Association. Founded in 1910, this organization functioned as a paramilitary and patriotic association composed of veterans and reservists of the Imperial Japanese Army. Its purpose was to maintain discipline, loyalty to the Emperor, and readiness of former soldiers for possible reactivation in times of war.
