Japan. First National Census Medal with case, 1920
The Commemorative Medal of the First National Census of Japan (1920) was established on June 17, 1921, by Imperial Edict No. 272 to commemorate the first national census, conducted on October 1, 1920. It was awarded to officials and individuals who took part in organizing the census.
The medal comes with its original wooden case.
