Japan. Japanese Naval Dagger of an Imperial Japanese Navy Officer (大日本帝國海軍 Dai-Nippon Teikoku Kaigun).
The metal parts are made of brass and are decorated with floral motifs characteristic of Japan. The scabbard is made of wood and covered with leather. The blade is the simple model from the end of the war and has the typical curved shape of the Japanese Tanto or Katana.
It retains the flowers on the hilt but does not have the opening safety.
Original Japanese dagger from World War II WW2.
