Helmet manufactured in the Netherlands by Verenigde Blikfabrieken for the Civil Defense organization Bescherming Bevolking. It was used between 1953 and 1957.
This helmet was produced in 1956.
The chinstrap features a clip-type fastener inspired by the 1943 M1 helmet.
The manufacturer’s mark and year of production are stamped on the inside of the rim.
