People’s Republic of China. Green cap of the Red Guards (Traditional Chinese: 紅衛兵; Simplified Chinese: 红卫兵; pinyin: Hóng Wèi Bīng).
The Red Guards were a paramilitary mass movement composed primarily of university and secondary school students in China, mobilized by Mao Zedong between 1966 and 1967 during the Cultural Revolution.
This model is green and features a red plastic star. Most Red Guard caps and uniforms were produced in green, although blue and sand-coloured versions were also manufactured.
