Poland. Award for Meritorious Members of the Fire Service «Zasluzony Funkcjonariusz Pozarnictwa». Established by decision of the Minister of the Interior on February 27, 1984, to honor the members of the Professional Fire Department in recognition of merit and long meritorious career. The decoration had a degree and could be conferred only once. It was conferred by the Minister of the Interior at the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Professional Fire Service.
