Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Yugoslav Crown (5th Class)
The Order of the Yugoslav Crown was a decoration established in 1930 by King Alexander I of Yugoslavia, retroactively dated to 1929, as part of his efforts to reinforce national unity under the monarchy. This order was awarded to Yugoslav and foreign citizens for distinguished merit in civil and military service, as well as for significant contributions to the State, the Crown, and the common good.
The center of the cross features the image of the Yugoslav royal crown. On the reverse of the insignia, the date «3-X-1929» and the royal monogram «A» (for October 3, 1929, and Alexander) are engraved.
Some enamel damage is present.
The Order was abolished with the capitulation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1941.
