Official Veteran Combatant Medal («Ветеран боевых действий») established in 2005 for all those soldiers who fought outside the borders of the Soviet Union.
The medal is awarded by the Soldiers-Internationalist Affairs Committee («Комитета по делам воинов-Интернационалистов»).
