The surrounding inscription reads “ZA ODRĘ – NYSĘ – BAŁTYK” (“For the Oder, Neisse and Baltic”). The reverse bears the inscription “RP ZWYCIĘZCOM III.1945 IV.1945”, meaning “To the Victors, March 1945 – April 1945”. It was suspended from a dark blue ribbon with light blue stripes at the edges.
