Socialist Romania. Order of Military Merit, 2nd Class
Decoration of the Romanian People’s Republic and subsequently the Socialist Republic of Romania, established on 10 June 1954 to recognize long and meritorious service by members of the Romanian Armed Forces. The Order of Military Merit (Ordinul Meritul Militar) comprised several classes, with the second class representing an intermediate level of the distinction.
It was awarded to military personnel in recognition of their service careers and professional merits.
